For traditional entrance doors we offer three types of lock sets:
- Era nightlatch with additional Deadlcok - Available in polished brass, polished chrome, satin nickel , grey and black
- Finfort Automatic Deadbolt Night latch with Manual Deadbolt - Available in polished brass , stain brass, antique brass, polished chrome, satin chrome, matt bronze
- Banham L2000 Rim Deadbolt with additional M2002 Deadlocks - Available in polished brass , stain brass polished chrome, satin nickel, dark bronze and black.
To match locks and adjustable hinges client can choose below additional fittings:

As standard in our basic quotes we allow for your new door to be fitted with two quality ERA locks with separate keys for each lock. You can upgrade to Banham locks which have a distinctive look, but for the ultimate security we highly recommend best current available on market Finfort Heritage locks which is fixed into the frame like a dead bolt for anti burst purposes.

Multipoint locking system
Multipoint concealed locking system operates from the handle, which engages the top, bottom, and middle locks. When door is locked, the locking system simultaneously provides compression to pull the door leaf onto the frame which also maximises Draught-proofing. As an upgrade option we also offer Ventas lock which eneble slave doors to operate by handle instead of using flush bolt systems.
Hinges
- Butt hinge – A standard exposed hinge
- Projection butt hinge – A wide butt hinge which allows doors to fold back on themselves by 180 degrees and are used when a door needs to be projected clear of architraves, window boards or downpipes.
- Nico LOADPRO 3D Adjustable Hinge – A low-friction bearing for smooth door openings, it offers a guaranteed reliability and also works as projection hinges to provide right angle for French doors to close against wall or side panel
Handles
Stained Glass Options on Timber Front Doors
Original lead pattern glazing has air leaks and do not comply with current requirements, it is not safe and in time getting draft issues. That is why in Wood And Home we offer two option for stained design to pass building regs and provide thermal efficiently :
- This a technique of applying special resin on glass to provide any shapes or colours - it is like 'painting ' on glass, but fully bonded to the glass surface so last forever and the lines to imitate lead bars.
- Make new stained glass unit or removed existing units from your existing door and encapsulate into double glazed units, like a sandwich between two clear panes of glass with argon filled in the cavity.
